Elephant Retirement Park (Chiang Mai, Thailand)

Benjamas, the begging elephant on the street and circus's elephant from the central region. Her leg is broken and torn Ligament in the left front leg from the showing at circus, and causes trouble with standing.

We have trying to find a doctor from abroad such as England and United States to treat Benjamas, but cannot to treat because the symptoms are too heavy. Now we just only take care and make her happy of the end of life.

We can not take over Benjamas permanently from the circus. Because our limited budget. We plan to keep Benjamas from the showing and abuse. Not only Benjamas we mean to keep but all the elephant in the circus around the country.

Come to join with us and help the begging elephant and circus's elephant to freedom and build the 'ele-barn' where the animals can sleep in the warm, and receive veterinary treatment.
